Evaluation Design
LPC works closely with clients to develop an evaluation design that satisfies the needs of their organizations and their funding sources. LPC also designs studies with research questions, data collection methods, and tools tailored to fit the program.
Program Evaluation: LPC implements design and evaluation studies, ranging from modest to large scale, depending on the funding support available. Often we partner with organizations as they draft a grant application or proposal to submit to a funder, and draft the evaluation section of their proposals. When funded, we design a complete evaluation with research questions, data collection strategies and protocols, data collection tools, and database. In addition, we develop evaluation reports for the agency and/or funder, thus sharing the program design and outcomes. We do this in complete collaboration with our clients and use every opportunity to build your internal organizational capacity to evaluate the programs and services you offer.
Literature Review and Summarization: LPC recognizes the value of remaining current in the field, whether in preparation for drafting a grant proposal or as part of an ongoing demonstration project a client is conducting. We are skilled at finding the most current and compelling research on each client’s particular area. For example, we compiled a compendium of “best practices” in youth development that has been widely used among Sacramento-based youth serving organizations.
